Beta Version of PSPOne Emulator For PSP Available

Last year Sony announced that they were working on an emulator for the PSP, allowing owners of its handheld to play all PSOne titles without a problem. Scheduled for November, Sony has now released a beta version of its PSX-P emulator, which works for firmware v1.0 through 2.71, although from v2.5 up, you will need to use eLoader. The developers are not quite satisfied with the framerate, but future updates should remedy that. Once the official/final PSX-P is released you will need a PC with wifi or a PS3 in order to use it.

'Front Mission the First' (NDS) Revealed

While details are very limited, Square Enix is working on a remake of the first Front Mission game in the franchise, which originally came out on SNES. Front Mission the First will use the main touch screen for tactical movement of troops, like we have seen in Advance Wars: Dual Strike. While other recent ports, FF III for instance, seem to have gotten a graphical upgrade, this does not seem to be the case with FM The First.
