Nearly half a million players got their first taste of Guild Wars Nightfall in last weekend's World Preview Event. Averaging 8.5 hours each over the course of the weekend, players amassed more than 4 million hours of game play, shattering the previous attendance record of 3 million hours set during the Guild Wars Factions preview event earlier this year.

Since Troika is no longer amongst the living this patch is not official, so use at your own discretion. This update brings Activision's Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines retail game to v3.0 (requires v1.2 patch installed) and addresses a number of known issues, gameplay tweaks, bug fixes and so forth (

Nvidia shares skyrocketed more than 8 percent Wednesday on rumors that Intel might be out to purchase the graphics chipmaker. Investors are speculating an official statement might follow shortly, while others say the deal would be too expensive, and not be as interesting as the recent ATi/AMD merger, as Intel has its own gfx chips.
