Eastern European developer Plastic Reality Technologies, who recently finished work on its FPS El Matador, has shut its doors due to the fact it could not find any further investment, all its employees left to work over at Illusion Softworks, and therefore has no further projects in development (thanks Tiscali Games)

Namco Bandai announced that Tamagotchi Connection: Corner Shop 2 has gone gold. This sequel is a game where aspiring shop keepers can open a variety of stores in which they tend to their Tamagotchi customers’ needs by successfully completing tasks in a variety of playful mini-games.

THQ's Q2 2007 Fiscal Result Reveals New Titles

Due to its stock options investigation THQ has released preliminary financial results indicating its soaring business as net revenue increased 68% (from $142.7 to $240.2 million) driven by sales of Saints Row, Company of Heroes, Cars. In the subsequent conference call, THQ execs revealed that the Juiced and MX franchises are getting new installments in the next year (no earlier than March 2007), while a Titan Quest expansion is scheduled for Q1 2007 (Jan-March). No details were revealed, but it was strongly hinted that both Saints Row and Company of Heroes will be seeing further installments, or expansions, in the series.

'Lost Planet: Extreme Condition' (X360) Collector's Edition Revealed - Screens

Capcom announced that its sci-fi action shooter, Lost Planet: Extreme Condition will get a SteelBook case packaged Collector’s Edition available at launch, which will include the game, art book, and as a special bonus, an exclusive multiplayer map that won't be available on Xbox Live until in summer 2007.

'Devil May Cry 4' (PS3) - 9 New Screens

Devil May Cry 4 is the fourth installment in Capcom's series starring Dante, the gunslinging demon hunter. DMC4 will introduce a new hero, Nero, who possesses a demonic arm that can pull in enemies or use them as projectiles.

Galactic Civilizations II: Dark Avatar adds a multitude of new features, a new singleplayer campaign, the elimination of two of the game’s alien races and the introduction of several others. Stardock announced that people who pre-order the Dark Avatar expansion will get access to the open beta, which will begin on November 16.
