Infinite Ward sends word that the Call of Duty 2 patch is currently being tested, and will be released soon. The update will include punkbuster (and it's functional unlike claims made on the official IW forum), 2 new multiplayer maps, fixes for multiplayer exploits and bugs, and the ability for players to auto download mods and maps. Cyanide announced that Winter Challenge is now available for online order/download from its website. Winter Challenge, aka Wintersport Pro 2006, is based on the upcoming Olympic Wintersports in Torino, and will feature 16 disciplines (skiing, bobsled, ski jumping etc.) and over 700 athletes from 29 countries, as well as multiplayer.
