THQ announced that the WWE has filed a lawsuit was filed on Oct. 12, 2006 claiming that a recent SEC filing revealed improper sales of WWE video games in Japan and other countries in Asia. The lawsuit seeks, among other things, a declaration that the WWE is entitled to terminate the video game license and monetary damages. THQ believe the lawsuit is without merit and intends to defend vigorously itself.

Dance Dance Revolution powerhouse Konami and In The Groove developer Roxor Games today announced the mutual settlement of the litigation between the parties in the U.S. District Court in the Eastern District of Texas. Under the terms of the settlement, Konami acquired the intellectual property rights to the In The Groove franchise.
