Digital Jesters/Encore has released a map editor for Digital Reality's WW2 RTS Desert Rats vs. Afrika Korps. The map editor (requires your game to be v1.18) will allow you to create your own multi-player maps to give to your friends or pass around and play online or over a network with. The map editor allows you to make a map of any size as well as place most of the objects seen in multi-player and single-player.

The demo features one map, Conquer 1 (which is in the full game, for four players) with the multiplayer modes Occupy all HQs, Kill All Enemies and Occupy 5 HQs. Encore/Digital Jesters (UK publisher) have released the demo for Digital Reality's RTS/Action game 'Desert Rats vs. Afrika Korps'. Encore today announced that it has signed an exclusive agreement with Paris-based developer and publisher Monte Cristo to publish Desert Rats vs. Afrika Korps, a tactical real-time strategy game inspired by campaigns waged in North Africa during World War II. Under the agreement, Encore is managing sales, distribution and marketing for the game in the U.S. and Canada, while Monte Cristo is producing the game. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

UK based publisher Digital Jesters continues its unrelenting acquisition of new games, with the news that it has signed the UK co-publishing rights to Monte Cristo's PC CD-ROM real-time tactical game Desert Rats vs. Afrika Korps.
