Konami America announced today that it shipped Dragon Booster for the Nintendo DS to retail stores nationwide. Based on the popular animated series airing on ABC Family and Toon Disney, Dragon Booster is a fast-paced, third person action racing video game which also includes combat elements.

Dragon Booster is a fast paced 3rd person racing/action/combat game set in a fantastical world where humans and dragons co-exist. When their peaceful way of life is disrupted, Beaucephalis, a legendary dragon, chooses Artha Penn, an ordinary 16-year old, to become a mythical hero known as a Dragon Booster.

Konami announced today that it has signed a worldwide video game agreement with Alliance Atlantis Communication Inc. for Alliance Atlantis' new children's animated property, Dragon Booster. Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. will develop, manufacture and distribute the game based on the highly anticipated animated series that is expected to debut in the US on Jetix (ABC Family and Toon Disney's branded block) Saturday, October 23, 2004 and on CBC in Canada on Tuesday, October 26, 2004, before rolling out around the world in early 2005.
