Encore today announced that it has begun shipping Battle Engine Aquila, a mech combat game with land and air engagement. The PC game will begin reaching store shelves by the end of this week, and retail for approximately $30.

Encore today announced that it has signed an exclusive North American agreement with UK-based Lost Toys to publish the PC version of Battle Engine Aquila, a mech combat game with land and air engagement. Respected developer Lost Toys today announced that it has developed a GeForceFX2 (aka NV35) version of its acclaimed shooter Battle Engine Aquila to be made available for bundling through OEM specialists Vector OEM Content. The fully optimised PC version has been approved by nVidia and will be shown on the company's booth at E3 as part of its 'The Way It's Meant To Be Played' campaign.

Infogrames and Lost Toys have announced that Battle Engine Aquila has gone gold for Xbox and PS2 and is expected to appear in stores early 2003 (original date is slated January 2003). Set on the planet Allium where climate changes have resulted in the sea raising, Battle Engine Aquila has players fighting with the faction known as the Forseti against another called the Muspell in his battle tank, the Battle Engine Aquila.
