Strategy First and Nival Interactive have released today a Multiplayer demo for Etherlords II, their exciting game that blends role-playing elements and tactical combat in the best traditions of fantasy trading card games. In the Multiplayer demo you will be able to play all modes available in the retail release of Etherlords II. In the demo you must choose between 2 races (Vitals or Chaots) from the 4 races that populate the Etherworld. Each of the races found in the demo is represented by only 2 heroes. The beta test will be focused on the game's new multiplayer modes and auto rating server. Registration is open to all gamers who are interested in helping us ensure that Etherlords II offers one of the best online magic combat experiences possible. Beta Testers will be chosen based on their application information, with the ability to play online being the most important consideration. This new patch v1.07 offers new multiplayer features, such as extending multiplayer to the strategic map as well as introducing a hot seat mode for multiplayer duels on a single computer. Update patch v.1.07 fixes a number of issues that were found in 1.06 dealing with the strategic multiplayer mode, including multiple problems with connections and the loading of previously saved games.
