UT2004 Creative has released a new patch for Epic's sci-fi FPS Unreal Tournament 2004 with weapons sounds and music enhanced, especially to take advantage of the X-Fi card's firepower and 128 voice support. Weapons and music both now use multiple voices for a bigger sound, and three dimensional panning for use with multi-speaker set-ups to surround you with sound.

Epic Games and Icculus have released a new patch for Epic's sci-fi FPS Unreal Tournament 2004. The Win32 patch contains 2 .DLL files (core.dll and engine.dll) that fixes a server crashing exploit active in the cheating community, while the v3369.2 linux patch has a server exploit fixed for both architectures, and compiler optimizations reenabled for amd64 (they got turned off by accident in 3369.1). Epic has released a Bonus Map Pack for UT2004 featuring two additional maps taking massive Onslaught battles to new planets. ONS-Ascendancy and ONS-Aridoom transport you to Tarydium crystal mines and age-old mesas littered with tank shells (
