Activision, Inc. announced today that the company has exercised its option to acquire the remaining 70% of outstanding common stock in Infinity Ward, the developer of Activision's highly anticipated PC game for the holiday season, Call of Duty.

Team registrations for 50 Buy-In-Slots (BIS) to the ATI/AMD Cyber X Games Championships are now available on a first come, first served basis for $150 USD. Firaxis Games and Atari are excited to announce that the second expansion pack to the greatest strategy game of all time has gone gold. Sid Meier's Civilization III: Conquests will arrive in stores across North America November 4th and in Europe November 14th. Civ Conquests takes players on a provocative journey through the ages as they pursue victory in the most famous adventures in history.

The creators of the massively popular computer game franchise "Diablo" announced today the formation of their new entertainment software development company, Flagship Studios. Flagship Studios has been founded by David Brevik, Max Schaefer, Erich Schaefer, Bill Roper and Kenneth Williams, all former executives at Blizzard North. David Brevik served as President while Max Schaefer, Erich Schaefer and Bill Roper held Vice President positions within the company. Ken Williams was Blizzard North's Director of Business and Operations. Together, the management and executive team for Flagship Studios represents over 45 years of game development experience.
