Trion World Network, founded by Might & Magic creator Jon Van Caneghem, are expanding their team once more. After recently having hired former SOE Executive Director of Development Nicholas Beliaeff, it has now signed SCEA's former Director of Online Technology Glen Van Datta. Trion World is currently working on a cross-platform fantasy themed MMORPG.

StarCraft II will feature the return of the Protoss, Terran, and Zerg races, overhauled and re-imagined with Blizzard's approach to game balance, designed to be the ultimate competitive RTS game. Online retailers

Best Buy and
Circuit City, all have StarCraft II listed for release on Dec. 3, 2008. While online retailers often have placeholder dates, the fact that three of them pegged the same date a week before Blizzard's 2008 Worldwide Invitational is quite a big coincidence (thanks Jeremy).

When Ninja Gaiden developer Tomonobu Itagaki left Tecmo he let his discontent be heard, which apparently resulted in more employees leaving and filing lawsuit. Now
Tecmo has slapped Itagaki with a gag order, preventing him from disclosing or leaking information regarding its game software, sales, development or any other company secrets, using newspapers, magazines, and the Internet to criticize Tecmo software and employees, obstructing its business through slanderous remarks to third parties, nor can Itagaki accept interviews regarding Tecmo or talk to the press about the company.
