No details were provided yet, except that the game may not be an RPG but it is listed as a "Dramatic Progressive Action" title, and Tetsuya Nomura, known from Kingdom Hearts, has signed on to be the character designer of the game..

The Last Remnant is Square Enix's latest RPG game, powered by the Unreal Engine 3, to be officially announced later this week at the Square-Enix Party. This single-player only title is scheduled to be released in Japan and North America simultaneously, with two main characters, each one appealing to a specific territory.
