A financial analysis document from Nollenberger Capital Partners reveals that EA might already be working on The Godfather 2. "Interestingly, we learned that EA is leveraging the significant amount of development time and costs that went into The Godfather game. The open-world engine was built from the ground up for Godfather, and is now being used by five different franchises, including The Simpsons. Godfather 2 is also in development currently, though timing is unknown."

The July issue of PC Gamer has the first details on American McGee's next project. An action/adventure spread over 24 episodes, American McGee's Grimm Tales, developed by his own studio Spicy Horse, will hopefully wash the bad taste of Bad Day L.A. and Scrapland out of our mouths and give us another taste of the twisted mind we got to ejoy in American McGee's Alice. Scheduled for early 2008, Grimm Tales will revisit various fairy tales we all know from our youth, and American McGee has once again teamed up with R.J. Sony's Q4 2007 financial results reveal the gaming division has lost $1.9 billion, mainly due to the below-production cost sale of the PS3, as well as declining PS2 hard/software sales. So far Sony has shipped, not sold, 13 million PS3 units, and a whopping 193 million PS2s. Sony expects a turnaround next fiscal year, as it is reorganizing and taking steps to cut production costs for the PS3.

Last year it was already revealed that Guilty Gear XX Accent Core was making its way from the arcades to the PS2, but according to Japanese magazine Famitsu it is now also coming to the Wii.
