Epic Games has release an AMD 64-Bit Patch for the retail version of Unreal Tournament 2004, allowing people with 64-bit processors to squeeze a little bit more performance out of Epic's FPS. This is not for the Linux 64bit version, only WinXP and an AMD 64 bit cpu. Read more for download links ...

Buena Vista Games and Epic Games today announced an agreement to license Unreal Engine 3 for multiple next-generation BVG projects. The first game under the agreement is based on the popular "Turok" franchise, and will be developed by BVG's new Propaganda Games studio in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Midway today announced that the latest entry into the Unreal franchise, Unreal Tournament 2007, is now in development. Like its predecessors, Unreal Tournament 2007, is being developed by North Carolina-based, Epic Games Inc. The U.S. Army today announced that it is expanding its technology agreement with Epic Games. Since 2000, Epic's Unreal Engine 2 has served as the foundation for America's Army, the Official U.S. Army Game. Fansite Beyond Unreal has received confirmation from Midway that Epic's next UT game will officially be called Unreal Tournament 2007. Previously only known under code name Envy, Epic has stated it would skip UT2006, and the new product will be not be a continuation, or sequel, to UT2004, but instead an all new title built from scratch, using the Unreal Engine 3. UT2007 will be officially announced and shown behind closed doors at E3 2005.

Dutch Streamline Studios announce today that it is currently servicing several next-generation developments at its studio. "We've spent time refining our systems and field testing our pipeline to ensure a one-stop solution for next-generation development hurdles and the results have been superb" stated Harpp Seble, SLS CFO.
