Activision, Inc. and the Creative Assembly today relaunched the official web site for the upcoming strategy game of epic battles, Medieval: Total War. The site includes news, game features and custom wallpaper. The site will also display the latest screenshots from Medieval: Total War that showcase the game's graphical enhancements. Thanks to a bit of technical wizardry on behalf of the developer, Medieval: Total War's units now have with four times the detail and resolution of the troops in Shogun: Total War.

Creative Assembly has released a playable demo of Medieval: Total War, their upcoming 3D real-time and turn-based strategy game, for download from Games Domain. The demo was previously available on the cover-disk of PC Gamer UK, which may be a more convenient way of obtaining a copy of the massive 235.3 MB file, and this Battle Tutorial demo offers eight tutorials and a single-player mission (the Battle of Jaffa) from the full game. GameSpyDaily let us know that the RTS - Shogun: Total War Warlord Edition - has today gone Gold. The title will ship on August 7th nationwide. Read the pressrelease over at gamespy.

The German company, Intex-Publishing , gave us their new addon Total War. This contains new maps for the freshly released Sudden Strike Forever by CDV only a few dayz ago..
