A narrative-driven action experience BioShock allows players to do the impossible as they journey through an amazing, immersive and terrifying world. The PS3 version of 2K's genetically enhanced game is getting new features and content, such as trophies, but also an exclusive Survivor mode, which is a new difficulty mode.
Volition, Inc.'s third-person shooter franchise will make its open-world, next-gen debut with Red Faction: Guerrilla. Set 50 years after the climactic events of the original Red Faction, this third-person open-world action-shooter will return to Mars and once again re-define the limits of destruction-based game-play.

Konami released its Q1 2009 financial results for the April-June quarter, revealing revenue went up 17% compared to the same period last year, while income jumped 65% dominated by the June 12 release of Metal Gear Solid 4, which has 3 million copies in two weeks. Kojima Productions' stealth action shooter boosted Konami's PS3 numbers from 1.3% last year to 57% this quarter, NDS, PS2 and PSP revenue dropped while Wii and X360 increased.

FF XIII uses the latest in cutting-edge technology providing tangible, intuitive controls while delivering seamless transitions between real-time gameplay and in-game cinematics. At E3, Square Enix announced that it would be bringing FF XIII to the Xbox 360, but at its DK Sigma3173 event, series director Motomu Toriyama revealed that development has not started yet, as the team has yet to receive any debug units. PS3 fans will be able to try out a quite large demo in March 2009 on a bonus demo disc that will come with the Blu-ray release of FF VII: Advent Children.
