Already rumored several months ago, EA today announced that it has entered into an agreement to acquire Virginia-based Mythic Entertainment, known for Dark Age of Camelot and currently working on Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning. Upon completion of the acquisition, Mythic Entertainment will become EA Mythic, a wholly-owned studio dedicated to developing MMORPGs.

EA announced today that it is lowering prices on its upcoming current generation PS2 and Xbox prices. This week Fight Night Round 3 is getting released, and should be in most retail stores by now, and gamers will only have to pay $39.99 for it, instead of the usual $49.99.
