Take-Two's Q1 2010 financial result reveals increased net revenue, driven by by Borderlands, NBA 2K10, GTA IV, GTA: Episodes from Liberty City and Carnival Games, while its net loss is down compared to last year. L.A. Take Two released its Q2 2009 results revealing that net revenue for Q2 2009 dropped from last year's $539.8 million (release period of GTA IV) to $229.7 million, driven by GTA IV DLC, MLB 2K9, GTA IV and GTA: Chinatown Wars (NDS), while last year's $98.2 million income dwindled to a $10.1 million net loss. More importantly Take-Two revealed it will be delaying Mafia II and Red Dead Redemption until the second half of fiscal 2010 (Nov. 1, 2009 - Apr. 30, 2010) to allow more development time, while BioShock 2 is tentatively scheduled for Oct. 30 in Europe and Nov. 3, 2009 in North America.

Take-Two has sued 3D Realms for failing to deliver Duke Nukem Forever. The associated case documents reveal that Take-Two is suing for the source code and has filed a restraining order to ensure that the code and assets remain secure and "unharmed" before the case goes to trial. shot down the rumor that Take-Two offered to buy the Duke Nukem IP for the reported $30 million.
