Crystal Dynamics has made Tomb Raider Underworld more realistic with fluid movements due to motion capturing. Set a few years after the last game, it also features persistent destruction and lush locales across the globe. Lara gets muddy in the game, but with the weather system, rain will wash it away.

Former Ubisoft and Gameloft developers who worked on titles such as Far Cry 2, Prince of Persia, Ghost Recon, Brothers in Arms decided to take matters into their own hands and form a new studio, trapdoor. Located in downtown Montreal, the studio is currently working on a multiplatform (X360/PS3/PC) original IP, but no further details are available at this point.

During a Brothers in Arms launch event in Romania theGameCast
interviewed Ubisoft Romania's PR who revealed that after completing Tom Clany's H.A.W.X. the studio is going to work on "the fifth part of a very popular Ubisoft series, a simulators one." Ubisoft Romania has previously worked on Silent Hunter 3 and 4, and being only simulator in their portfolio it is safe to assume a fifth installment in the submarine simulation franchise is coming.

Gerald Willis of Reno, composer of the University of Las Vegas fight song "Win With the Rebels," has filed a lawsuit against Electronic Arts in U.S. District Court in Nevada according to
