In Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, you'll engage in exciting wizard duels, mix and brew magical ingredients in Potions class, take to the air to lead the Gryffindor Quidditch team to victory, and discover the identity of the Half-Blood Prince. Warner Bros. decided to push the movie release from Nov. 2008 to July 2009, so we asked EA about whether the game would also suffer a delay. Various sources claimed they were surprised by the news, while the producer said the announcement came at an inopportune time, indicating the game would also have to be pushed due to overlapping story lines outside of the already-released book.

According to an ad in the 3rd season DVD set for FOX's Prison Break released earlier this week, Brash Entertainment will be making the action series into a game. Due to a political conspiracy, an innocent man is sent to death row, and his only hope is his brother who makes it his mission to deliberately get himself sent to the same prison in order to break the both of them out from the inside. No details were provided, only that the game is currently scheduled for Feb. 2009.

In further backlash to the Activision/Vivendi merger, Radical's HR VP Leah Rubin
revealed that it has to lay off 100 of its employees due to canceled projects.
