SouthPeak Games announced a new twist on the racing genre in the form of Iridium Runners, placing gamers in a futuristic world where they are literally running for their lives.

Dungeon Runners is a fast-paced multiplayer action/RPG experience where you take on the role of a brave hero and explore dangerous dungeons, battle ferocious monsters, and discover unique items! This second update adds in-game advertising in non-member worlds, more bank space for members, item trading, increased access to prime loot, and overall PvE/PvP refinements.

Majesco announced Wonderworld Amusement Park, developed by Coyote Console, bringing to life a fully 3D world of games, rides and prizes across multiple themed areas that players can explore with personalized avatars.

The Settlers VI will focus on building larger and more fortified cities as well as planning and optimization in a medieval world. Attributes that are typical of the series are once again the focus of the game, create magnificent cities and inhabit them with hundreds of settlers going about their daily lives.

Former Microsoft Game Studios Vice President Ed Fries has partnered with Blizzard and launched FigurePrints, a premium service that allows World of Warcraft players to create real-life 3D statues of the individual characters they play in the game.

Patapon is a 2D platform/action adventure game that transforms players into a mystical leader in charge of guiding a tribe of small, quirky warriors called Patapons. ND Games announces 9th Company: Roots of Terror, a new action-oriented RTS developed by Lesta Studios, creators of Pacific Storm, using their brand-new proprietary engine.

Inspired by the forthcoming Winter Olympics, RTL Winter Sports 2008 will see gamers cut through gates, punch through turns and slip through gliding phases as they strive to become number one.

While D3Publisher's X360 exclusive Oneechanbara vorteX never made it to North America, it seems the Wii might see the next installment in the franchise, known for its scantily clad women, lots of zombies and blood by the bucketloads.

Killer 7 developer Goichi Suda, who is currently working on No More Heroes for the Wii, has revealed in an interview with Japanese magazine Dengeki that he might be looking at the Xbox 360 for his next project. When asked why, the Grasshopper founder said it was mainly due to the large fan base in North America, and that developing on the Xbox 360 would be a challenge, comparing it to "entering the Major Leagues."

2K Sports announced Don King Presents: Prizefighter, a documentary-style boxing game under development at Venom Games, known for Rocky: Legends. Don King Presents: Prizefighter features a documentary-style narrative career mode, training, and will require you to also manage personal relationships outside of the ring.

Starting Dec. 15th until Jan. 2nd, Blizzard will be giving most major cities in its World of Warcraft MMORPG a festive makeover for the holiday season with unique items in shops, ability to throw snowballs, various bosses dropping gift wrapped loot, but also a new quest with The Preserved Holly as reward which transforms your flying mount into a reindeer.
