$200 million financing announcement from Crystal Sky Pictures to make 5 movies, is news that the company will produce a movie based on Namco Bandai's iconic Pac-Man franchise. Crystal Sky Pictures is also behind the upcoming video game adaptation of Konami's Castlevania, which was delayed due to the recent writers' strike.

Last month, it was rumored that Orlando "Legolas" Bloom had signed on to star as the Prince of Persia in Jerry Bruckheimer's adaptation of Ubisoft's popular video game, which was shortly thereafter debunked by Disney. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Jake Gyllenhaal (Brokeback Mountain, Donnie Darko, Jarhead) and newcomer Gemma Arterton (James Bond: Quantum of Solace) are the final choices. Prince of Persia: Sands of Time is set to start filming in Morocco this July.
