Harmonix and MTV Games announced the latest slate of downloadable tracks available for Rock Band. Starting April 29 for the X360 (May 1st for PS3) players will be download Smashing Pumpkins’ alternative anthem Zero and two tracks from the psychedelic rock of The Mother Hips, Red Tandy and Time Sick Son of a Grizzly.

Sony, still playing catchup after the recent Playstation Store revamp,
rolled out a new update with the Eye of Judgment Card Expansion Set 2 ($14.99), Call of Duty 4 Variety Map Pack ($9.99), Army of Two SSC Challenge Map Pack ($7.49). Rock Band gets Judas Priest's Screaming for Vengeance album and Motley Crue's Saints of Los Angeles, Guitar Hero III gets the Def Leppard track pack ($6.25), while Karaoke Revolution Presents: American Idol Encore gets downloadable songs for $1.49 each. There are demos for Iron Man and echochrome, as well as the usual slew of game/movie trailers and PS3 themes.
