Last month EA promised the new v1.06 patch for its 3D sci-fi RTS C&C3: Tiberium Wars to be released in July, and it seems it is keeping its word. C&C community manager Apoc revealed that the patch has passed QA and is scheduled for release tomorrow. Disney Interactive Studios announced it has acquired Warren Spector's Junction Point Studios, currently working on a yet to be announced next-gen project. As part of DIS it will create new franchises and also bring some of Disney's most beloved franchises to next generation gaming platforms.

Red Octane has released the 4th downloadable content pack for GH 2 on Xbox Live Marketplace, offering 3 new songs (Wanna Be Sedated/The Ramones, Smoke on the Water/Deep Purple, and You've Got Another Thing Coming/Judas Priest) for 500 points ($6.25). So far more than 300,000 downloadable song packs were sold, and despite outrage from a lot of game fans, Red Octane's head of publishing Dusty Welch said it will not lower the price.
