As promised Epic has released a "house-hold" patch addressing various gfx and voice issues, bugs, crashes, better anti-cheat code, multiplayer adjustments and other tweaks. Logon to Xbox Live, with the game in the tray and you should be prompted to download the patch. Tomorrow Microsoft will release two new multiplayer maps...

Several people have email in to let us know that apparently Microsoft has rolled out a new Xbox 360 update without any prior notification. When you log on to Xbox Live you will be prompted to download the new update which, according to MajorNelson adresses nothing major, just a few performance and stability issues.

Rumors have been flying for quite a while that Microsoft might be working on an updated Xbox 360, and
Engadget claims to have the first photo of the Zephyr project, a second X360. While there if no official announcement, or confirmation, the new version seems to sport an HDMI port for dedicated 1080p support. The article goes on to say that it will feature the previously revealed 65nm chip (quieter, cooler, smaller) and will come with a 120gig hd for all those HD movies. No specific prices, release date, or what the upgrade program might be for those first 9 million X360 owners.

Team17's Creative and UK Studio Director Martyn 'Spadge' Brown announced that they are in the final stages of development, and are currently hunting down the last few bugs. The lucky few people with a debug unit can already test Worms HD on Microsoft's Xbox Live developer system Partner Net. Spadge expects a formal announcement to be made early January, at the CES in Vegas. Team17 managed to get the full game into the 50mb XBLA limit, and is currently working on additional downloadable content.

Microsoft announced that it will change the X360 warranty from 90 days to 1 year from the date of purchase in the US and Canada, on par with the standard 1-year X360 warranty that is available throughout most of the world.
