After two years of development Climax's Warhammer Online was cancelled after which Games Workshop granted its license to Mythic Entertainment. Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning is an MMO game for PC and console set in the fantasy world of Warhammer.

Dreamers is an action/adventure game, powered by the Reality Engine, in which you play Jorge, a 20 year old young man suffering from a bizarre form of narcolepsy. Plagued by sudden and uncontrollable attacks of deep sleep, usually lasting 5-10 minutes, Jorge goes out to find what is causing his medical mystery by confronting his dreams, nightmares, his lifelong fears and his ill-fated past.

Real Fighting Championship is an 3D online fighting game for the PC, in development at Cykan Entertainment. RFC promises realistic graphics, championships with multiple modes, and give you an experience that rivals any console fighting game. As you progress you will be able to strenghten your character to become winner of the RFC.

Microsoft and Rare today announced that the 11 winning entries from the Kameo: Elements of Power Design Your Skin Contest are available today as free, fully playable downloadable content in the new Design-A-Skin pack through Xbox Live Marketplace.

Empire has released the first patch for BugBear's recently released racing game FlatOut 2. This v1.2 patch is for all European editions, including Germany, not US, and adds voice chat, improves multiplayer, updates gfx and fixes a bunch of crashes and bugs.

Last year Sony announced that they were working on an emulator for the PSP, allowing owners of its handheld to play all PSOne titles without a problem. Scheduled for November, Sony has now released a beta version of its PSX-P emulator, which works for firmware v1.0 through 2.71, although from v2.5 up, you will need to use eLoader. The developers are not quite satisfied with the framerate, but future updates should remedy that. Once the official/final PSX-P is released you will need a PC with wifi or a PS3 in order to use it.

In Company of Heroes gamers will experience the journey of the brave men of Able Company in a deep single-player campaign that begins with the invasion of Normandy through their fight across Europe, all set against the most dynamic, and completely destructible, battlefield ever seen in a game.

Justice League Heroes is an action adventure game with role-playing customization featuring Superman, Batman, Green Lantern, The Flash, Wonder Woman, Martian Manhunter, Zatanna and other unlockable Justice League super heroes, but also unlockable costumes.

Limelight Networks today announced it has renewed its alliance with Microsoft as the Content Delivery Network to continue to deliver content and downloads from Microsoft and game developers directly via the Xbox 360's Xbox Live network.

The World Series of Video Games presented by Intel announces today that the upcoming Major event on the World Series of Video Games circuit will be entitled the "UK Gaming Championship". The event will be held at the London Trocadero in Piccadilly Circus, October 6-8, 2006. Hours of operation are 10-10 Friday and Saturday, and 12-5 on Sunday.

CDV announced American Conquest Anthology, which includes American Conquest, and its Fight Back and Divided Nation expansions, letting you relive events from American history from the period of 1492 to 1865. The collection includes a total of over 100 missions, 25 campaigns and 22 nations, random map generator and online multiplayer modes that will keep players battling through history for months. American Conquest Anthology will ship to North American retail in November 2006.

Ubisoft's X360 exclusive Import Tuner Challenge, also known as Tokyo Xtreme Racer X, is an authentic and extremely customizable street-racing game that challenges racers to immerse themselves in Tokyo's underground to take on the fastest street-racing teams.

L.A. Noire, developed by Team Bondi formed by The Getaway's Brendan McNamara, is an interactive detective story set in the classic noir period of the late 1940's. L.A. Noire blends action, detection and complex storytelling and draws players into an open-ended challenge to solve a series of gruesome murders.

Ascaron has released a new patch for its latest iteration in the ANSTOSS soccer management franchise. This 4th patch requires v1.03 to be installed and fixes various bugs, and game crashes. Old save games will no longer work after applying this patch.

According to German Gamestar magazine, Epic's Jay Wilbur revealed at the Tokyo Game Show that UT 2007 has been further delayed, until Q2/Q3 2007. While Epic never announced an official release date, Sony initially mentioned it was to be a launch title, and while many retailers had it listed for end of the year, a few months ago The Inquirer reported it was postponed until 2007. Specific reasons for the delay were of course not provided, but it is safe to assume the extra development time will be used to polish the game.
