The Core / Premium Xbox 360 controversy seems to be taking a new turn as a boxcover for Sports Interactive's upcoming Football Manager 2006 reveals that it requires a hard drive. Microsoft assured that all games would be playable on every X360, HD or not, so the real question is, what's the HD requirement for? The game itself might very well be playable but save games for the FM series can turn out to be rather big, and the mem stick is only 64mb.
