Relic announced that on Thursday 8th September it will launch a new patch for Dawn of War through the auto-updater in the game. This patch will bring your retail game to v1.4 and address a few notable balance items, adds Persistent Bodies and Decals! Take 2 just let us know that the 'Vietcong 2' multiplayer demo will be released tomorrow and it will contains the Capture the Flag, Deathmatch and Team Deathmatch modes, and like the full game, servers can support up to 64 players simultaneously, with full RPG-style experience for all players (which unlocks new classes on both sides as you earn experience). Of course we will have it available on our fileserver network as soon as it's released.

Cyan employee The Grey Dragon has
a blog posting about the shocking news that long time Myst developer Cyan worls has laid off all of its employees, except for Rand Miller and Tony Fryman. Cyan's future had been a bit rocky ever since the failed attempt at creating Myst Online, which was then changed to the commercially unsuccessful Uru. Reason for sudden demise is the inability to secure further funding, thus people had to be let go (
thanks Uru Obesssion). Myst V: End of Ages will be released later this month, so maybe if it becomes another bestseller, there might be some hope for Cyan after all.
