Interplay is in serious financial trouble and today fansite No Mutants Allowed is reporting that "The Property management company is shutting the doors effective 5pm for lack of payment. CDV today announced the North American release dates of two upcoming real-time strategy titles for the PC platform. 'Blitzkrieg: Burning Horizon,' the sequel to 2003's hit title 'Blitzkrieg' is scheduled for a release date of June 8. 'Codename: Panzers,' a fully 3D World War II real-time strategy game, is slated for retail stores on August 31.

Updating its official website, LucasArts has delayed Pandemic's Mercenaries to "early 2005". Mercenaries is a third-person action title set in the near future, in a time in which North and South Korea are about to reunite. As it's about to take place, a general stages a coup, taking control of North Korea. Put in the role of a mercenary (hence the name) in a group called Executive Operations, Mercenaries has players hunting the general after a hundred million dollar bounty is put on his head.
