IndyCar Series delivers the Indy Racing season, including the Indianapolis 500 (Indy 500) race, "The Greatest Spectacle in Racing". The season is an open-wheeled championship on short ovals and superspeedways throughout the US, including California and Texas, with the Indy 500 as the highlight of its racing calendar. Indy cars are similar to F1 but are powered by 3.5-litre V8 engines, used by all teams. Fast and furious, the 650 bhp cars reach 0-100 mph in less than three seconds.

Serious Sam is a high-adrenaline arcade-action shooter heavily focused on frantic arcade-style single player action. In a world where cyberpunk meets fantasy-fiction and advanced technology is mixed with black magic and psycho-powers, Sam travels through the beautiful world of ancient Egypt and several diverse planets, confronting countless Mental's minions on his way to the Mental's base.

Not really much of a secret anymore but nonetheless. Konami of America announced today that an enhanced version of Silent Hill 3, the highly anticipated third title in Konami's best-selling horror series, will be released in October 2003 on DVD-ROM.

LucasArts has updated the official web site for its upcoming flight action game Secret Weapons Over Normandy, expected to release winter 2003. The update includes: New Model Movie and Concept Art, 10 New PlayStation2 Screenshots, 2 New PlayStation2 Gameplay Teasers Each ten-second Gameplay Teaser features action taken directly from the PlayStation2 and highlights a different element of the game. With this update, future pilots will get a look at the Top Secret XF5U-1 "Flying Pancake" and its arsenal of guided weapons, as well as glimpse the desperate fight between the United States and Japan at the Battle of Midway. Taiwan-based games company, InterServ International, makes its U.S. debut at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3), May 14-16, 2003 at the Los Angeles Convention Center. Founded in 1989 and an established developer and publisher of entertainment and education software in Asia, InterServ now looks to become a player in the international games community. InterServ is a publicly traded company in Taiwan and holds the distinction of being one of the only Taiwan-based developers accepted into the Microsoft Xbox Registered Developers Program.

In the past week the registration for the public beta phase of the online strategy game Tactical Commanders was started with a contingent of 10.000 beta test accounts. In view of the fact that today this mark was broken, the Tactical Commanders Team decided to set up additional servers to raise the number of possible beta testers to 20.000!! Interested players will be given the chance to apply for the beta test till the end of may. The beta test of the so called Massively Multiplayer Online Real Time Strategy Game (MMORTS) will be started in june for all german and english speaking areas. THQ Inc. today announced that it has entered into a two-property, multi-year publishing agreement with world-renowned PC development studio Relic Entertainment Inc. Creators of critically acclaimed real-time strategy (RTS) titles Homeworld and Impossible Creatures, Relic is regarded as a leader in the RTS genre. Homeworld won PC Gamer magazine's "Game of the Year" honor in 1999 and has franchise sales of more than 1.3 million units worldwide since its release. The first of the two projects included in the agreement is currently in development at Relic and scheduled to release in the second half of 2004. More details on this project will be released later this year.

Austrian publisher JoWooD has signed a deal with Bigben Interactive which will see Bigben taking over publishing duties on 21 new titles for the PC, PSone and PS2 platforms in Germany, France, Benelux and Switzerland. Among the titles covered by the deal are Spellforce and Soldner: Secret Wars on the PC, while the "Giant" series of simulation games is also covered in the back catalogue of titles signed to Bigben.
