Currently working on Red Dead Redemption, for next spring, Rockstar's Dan Houser revealed that Grand Theft Auto V will be set in a different city than its predecessor, with a script that's 1000 pages long,nearly ten times as much as a feature film.

Modern Warfare 2 continues the gripping and heart-racing saga with an unprecedented level of action as players face off against a new threat dedicated to bringing the world to the brink of collapse. Following the controversy of the "airport level," Russian stores have taken the game off the shelves. Activison has patched the PC version to remove the entire "No Russian" level, while an altered console version will be re-distributed shortly.

Wings of Prey is a new combat flight simulator based around the large-scale aerial combat and ground military operations of World War II. Codemasters revealed it plans to release a DirectX 11 enabled DiRT 2 Demo around two weeks prior to the full DiRT 2 Games for Windows Live versions release date.

Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles‘s story is based on Resident Evil 2 and includes Leon S Kenney and Claire Redfield. We had high hopes on Sunday to get a few things crossed off our to-do list, but alas, we failed. It's not such a bad thing because they weren't all that important to begin with.

We did, however, see Boondock Saints II, and it was great. A little awkward with the inclusion of a new "gang" member, which threw off the trio's chemistry a little bit, but overall, the flick was great. If you were a fan of the original, you'll love the sequel, and if you never heard of the movie before, you'll enjoy it either way. While one of the quotes says, "Let's do some gratuitous violence," it's violence without being too over the top. A few dozen people die throughout the movie, but there's not a lot of gibs, guts or massive loads of blood.

MechWarrior marks an epic struggle to reclaim your birthright as you command an awesomely armed 40-foot tall, 80-ton, 90-mile per hour war machine across the remote battlefields of a hostile world. MekTek revealed that a recent meeting green lighting the release of MechWarrior 4 did not yield any results, but with the free release is ready, and awaiting approval, which could happen as early as Thanks Giving (Nov. 26).

In ME2, Saren's evil army of Geth soldiers has just been defeated, and humans, who are still struggling to make their mark on the galactic stage, are now faced with an even greater peril. The latest GTTV ep. reveals that Cmd. Shepard is working for Cerberus' The Illusive Man, played by Martin Sheen. You will also have a new squad member, Mordin, while also introducing a new character class, the Vanguard.

In the bold and often-bloody Dead Space, gamers will step into a third-person sci-fi survival horror experience delivering the ultimate in psychological thrills and gruesome action. With the original Dead Space released last year, the Wii sequel not selling too well, Visceral wrapping up Dante's Inferno, it is no surprise work on a sequel is proceeding. Not officially announced yet, but hinted at multiple times already, rumors about the inclusion of multiplayer surfaced in a survey earlier this year, with a new help wanted page confirming it further (thanks Joystiq).

Yesterday was a fun day. It was one of those nice fall days that's kind of chilly but sunny; it wasn't cold, but it wasn't warm either. We had some friends come over, went out to breakfast, did some shopping, made dinner, and rubbed our bellies.

An impromptu visit to Gamestop got us a few old games, Zak & Wiki and Tales of Desperaux, and I was eyeing a Wii Perfect Shot lightgun for $15, but decided to hold off and see what else was out there. When we were at Target, I picked up a Zapper Blaster for $25, but then changed my mind at the checkout. When we got home, a quick check on eBay got two zapper laser guns for a total of $25 instead. Sweet!

Later today, we plan on seeing Boondock Saints II: All Saints Day and stopping at Asqew for dinner.
