Capcom teased that it would unveil a new title through a trailer on Xbox Live, and keeping true to its word, Lost Planet 2 has been revealed. Using its multiplatform MT-FrameWork 2.0, LP2 will be told from the perspective of various Snow Pirate factions, unlike Lost Planet. Set 10 years after the original, a climate change has melted the snow covered landscape, and created new environments such as jungles.
