Enlight has released the demo for Nemesis of the Roman Empire (aka Celtic Kings: Punic Wars) featuring two playable nations, the Carthaginians and Romans and features two missions, one from each of the single player campaigns. Empires introduces buildable and destroyable buildings, a resource economy system, team commanders, and many other features modders of Battlefield 1942 have declared to be impossible due to no available SDK. This patch brings the mod to v0.11 and fixes most of the lag and crashing, and dedicated servers now work. We recommend running dedicated servers now, with the patch. There were no gameplay changes made to this release, however gameplay changes are now our main focus. Read more for download links ...

Bugbear Entertainment announced today that it has signed an agreement with Empire Interactive to publish its smash 'em up racing game, Flat-Out. In Flat-Out players start out with junkyard cars, race the competition, earn cash, buy upgrade to fix and tune up your car and so forth.
