‘The Great Escape’ video game is based on the 1963 Oscar nominated film staring Steve McQueen and revolves around actual events during WW2. The game is set in a number of unique locations, from POW camps to a mountain-top castle. Game levels include a busy hospital, a chase through a moving train and escape from an active Luftwaffe airfield. Jaleco just send out word that their indoor driving title Micro Mayhem has been pushed back until Q1 2004. The decision was based largely on Jaleco's desire to continue developing the online component of the game which is going to take more time. It is still planned to appear on next-gen consoles and PC in a simultaneous release with North America and Europe, but a specific release date is yet to be set. To be Continued...

In addition to the all-new Kudos ranking system, tons of hot cars and cities to explore and a massive list of authentic music tracks, "PGR2" also defines the Xbox Live experience. "PGR2" is built from the ground up for seamless online experiences in both Solo Play and Multiplayer modes. Players can get updated scores, scoreboard changes, Live Ghosts and challenges in real-time as they play.
