SCi today announces that it has acquired the interactive rights from Artisan Entertainment, Inc. to Reservoir Dogs. Originally released in 1992, 'Reservoir Dogs' received critical acclaim when it screened at the Sundance Film Festival in January 1991. The director was Quentin Tarantino who has since developed a cult movie following around the world.

SCi Games today announced that its WWII escape adventure game, The Great Escape, will hit the Xbox, PS2 and PC this summer. Ubi Soft today announced it is shipping the popular Japanese mech-based shooter, Murakumo: Renegade Mech Pursuit, exclusively for the Xbox video game system from Microsoft. Murakumo: Renegade Mech Pursuit is a "pursue and destroy" action game that puts you in control of an elite Mech Hunter unit that must suppress a rampage of renegade mechs programmed for terror and destruction, bent on eliminating everything in their path.

The 3DO Company today announced that "High Heat Major League Baseball 2004" is now available on the Xbox. With eleven game modes including the new Franchise and Career modes, a new graphics engine and completely original motion captured player animations, "High Heat" is the team to beat.

Indiana Jones and the Emperor's Tomb features The Collective's proprietary 3D engine that supports completely immersive, highly interactive environments. The game will offer 10 levels, all set in unique locales such as a 15th century castle that looms over Prague, an underwater palace in Istanbul, and a mountaintop fortress in China. A sophisticated camera tracking system makes sure that the player always has an optimal view of the third-person action.

Microsoft has signed up more than 350,000 subscribers worldwide for its Xbox Live online video gaming service, as it prepares to bring the platform to Europe. The company had claimed sales of 150,000 subscription kits one week after its November launch and 250,000 kits as of the first week of January for its initial roll-out in the United States and Canada. Microsoft launched the $49 subscription kit enabling online play for its Xbox game console last November in the United States and in mid-January in Japan. It will be released in Europe on March 14. The first set of downloads was recently launched for the game "Mech Assault," and Microsoft registered more than 172,000 downloads for the new content in its first week. The next major game to have downloads will be "Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell" from Ubi Soft Entertainment; a new level for the game, called "Kola Cell," will be available simultaneously with the Xbox Live launch in Europe.

Noticed on ToTheGame that Starbreeze today unveiled Enclave 2, the sequel to its action/adventure title already available on next-gen consoles (and to be released on PC soon). Microsoft Game Studios announced today its first baseball title for the Xbox, "Inside Pitch 2003." This Xbox Live enabled title will begin turning double plays, throwing brush back pitches and clearing the fences for the 2003 Major League Baseball season. Nomar Garciaparra will appear on the cover and serve as spokesperson for "Inside Pitch 2003." Joining the All-Star shortstop on the "Inside Pitch 2003" roster is the top broadcast team of Joe Buck and Tim McCarver. Read more for details and screens.

In 'Wallace & Gromit' players will rescue young animals from the clutches of mischievous monkeys and thwart Feathers McGraw's twisted and diabolical plan for total zoo domination. Set in an immersive 3D world, the player is cast as Gromit and is challenged to solve puzzles and locate keys in order to rescue the young animals.
