Eidos announced today that 'Athens 2004' for PC has gone gold and will be shipping to stores across North America on October 12, 2004.

Eurogamer is reporting that Ubisoft is working on an all new MMORPG based on the 'Heroes of Might & Magic' franchise. The new online RPG is being developed by Ubisoft in collaboration with TQ Digital Entertainment, and is scheduled for a 2005 release. Unfortunately it seems the MMORPG is only planned for the Chinese market, although Ubisoft says they might look into a worldwide release somewhere down the line.

Silver Style Entertainment today finished the voice recordings for their post-apocalyptic role-playing game "The Fall Last Days of Gaia". With 84 actors managing 380 parts with a total of 182,000 words it marks the most extensive voice production a computer game made in Germany has ever seen.

In Technic Beat, you listen to music represented in the game by radiating concentric rings of sound. Picking up the beat, you dance into the middle of the rings and try to "catch" the music. If successful, you achieve the power to manipulate the sound rings and create entirely new music. As you progress and gain skill, you are rewarded with spectacular visual displays, bonuses, and power ups.

The official World Of Warcraft website has word that people who did not make it into the closed beta test will get yet another chance to try out the game before its official release date. "We are happy to announce that we will soon be accepting applicants for the World of Warcraft Open Beta Test for North America. The open phase of beta will give people a chance to enter Azeroth and play World of Warcraft before the game is released. More details will become available in the days ahead, so stay tuned."

Already revealed yesterday, THQ today officially announced exclusive worldwide publishing rights to the 'Juiced' franchise. THQ submitted the winning bid for the property, which was approved on October 6, 2004, by an order of the U.S. bankruptcy judge overseeing the Acclaim Chapter 7 bankruptcy proceedings. Although Juiced was 'finished', THQ says it will released the racing game on PS2, Xbox and PC in summer 2005.
