Strategy First has announced that a brand new demo for Earth 2150: Lost Souls has been released. The Lost Souls Demo includes the first mission from the United Civilized States (UCS) campaign, the UCS tutorial as well as a skirmish map. Codemasters released a stunning new Colin McRae Rally 3 movie today, showcasing the game’s grueling rally gameplay and dynamic visuals. Created especially for the London Effects & Animation Festival, the video is available online from Downloads section of the game's web site (movie file titled “Colin McRae Rally 3: The Game”; filename “cmr3_game”). With a running time of approximately two minutes, the video streams through the game’s opening scenes to the gritty rallying action and ends with a championship win.

Gamers can now enter the world of one of the summer's biggest action thrillers with Activision, Inc.'s XXX for the Nintendo Game Boy Advance. Our goal in the CPL and any other pro offline tournament we support is to create a common set of rules that levels the playing field. To that end, the rules posted by the CPL reflect that players have only a limited set of things they can change. Exactly what will be changeable hasn’t to my knowledge been fully decided on yet.

Right now, we (as in Epic) are talking about creating a “Pro” version of the game just with tournaments like this in mind. It will be pro in terms of what game settings can be altered and what can’t. It will encompass what can be tweaked and adjusted as well as what game settings should be used. This will not be something designed for online play at this time.

BAM! Entertainment announced today that it will begin shipping Reign of Fire for PS2 and Game Boy Advance to retailers worldwide next week. Xbox and GameCube versions of the game will ship to retail by mid-November. Inspired by the feature film from Spyglass Entertainment, the action-packed game is supported by a multi-million dollar marketing campaign that includes a nationwide TV advertising effort, print and online advertisements, special retailer promotions, pre-order incentives and a multi-product rebate offer tied to the movie's DVD release slated for November 19th.
