Sammy Europe, Ltd. today unveiled the games it will have on display at ECTS 2003. Amongst their titles are the eagerly anticipated Lethal Skies 2, as well as Seven Samurai 20XX. The company is exhibiting at booth #1950 at the show, held August 27th – 29th at Earls Court in London, UK.

Whiptail Interactive will premier its Q4 product releases for 2003 at ECTS, August 27-29, 2003 at Earls Court, London in stand #1970. Not really a surprise but GSC Game World send out notice that they will be attention the upcoming Games Convention (Leipzig) and ECTS (London) shows. GSC Game World will demonstrate survival FPS/RPG S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Oblivion Lost (booth of THQ) and historical strategy Cossacks 2: Napoleonic Wars (booth of CDV). Whiptail showing off Gangland, multiplayer Postal 2, Postal Classic & Uncut, Blade and Sword and RC Cars... Oxygen Interactive, the UK based computer game publisher can today announce that they will be showcasing their 2003/2004 line up of titles at this years ECTS show from 27th August to 29th August 03... "March Offworld Recon, Midnight Nowhere, Paradise Cracked, Echelon Wind Warriors and Time of Defiance, with new PS2 and Xbox games to be unveiled too".

NVIDIA Corporation will be the talk of the show at this year's ECTS (Earls Court, London, August 27th to 29th) hosting some of the most highly anticipated PC games this year, including: STALKER, Breed (new multiplayer version), Worms 3D, Hidden and Dangerous II and Aquanox 2.

Cenega UK is delighted to confirm its attendance at the annual European Computer Trade Show at Earls Court, London (Stand 1480) from 27th – 29th August 2003.

On show, Cenega UK is presenting the highly anticipated 3D action/adventure horror game Shade: Wrath of Angels; recently signed The Roots a 3D adventure role playing game for PC-CD and this years releases - UFO: Aftermath and Korea: Forgotten Conflict. Valve, creators of Half-Life, the world's largest PC action gaming franchise, will team up with Vivendi Universal Games UK (VUG UK) at ECTS in London to present Half-Life 2 for the first time in Europe. In development for the past five years, Half-Life 2 was first unveiled in May 2003 at the E3 games convention in Los Angeles, where it received 12 Game of Show accolades and E3's Overall Game of Show award.

Ubi Soft Entertainment, one of the world's largest video game publishers, today revealed its plans for the ECTS (The Electronic Computer Trade Show), one of the industry's major European events of the year.

At stand # 1750, Ubi Soft will be featuring key titles from its Christmas 2003 lineup on leading platforms.

Last April, Senior U.S. District Judge Stephen Limbaugh ruled that computer and video games had "no conveyance of ideas, expression or anything else that could possibly amount to free speech" in a St. Louis County case that sought to limit children's access to mature video games. The 8th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals disagreed, saying a "particularized message" is not required when it comes to the First Amendment. Read more for details ...

Streamline Studios today announced that the company is currently seeking additional outsourcing projects in the videogame industry. The company’s founders include original team members from game developer Rewolf Studios, who developed the Half Life Mod; Gunman Chronicles. Streamline Studios is dedicated to providing outstanding creative and engineering services for next-generation gaming systems including PC.

Nintendo and Electronic Arts today announced a collaboration on games that will include exclusive features for connected play between the Nintendo GameCube console and the portable Game Boy Advance system. The creative effort will be led by EA, with Nintendo's legendary game producer, Shigeru Miyamoto, providing input on technical game play elements.

Artifact Entertainment, developer and publisher of Horizons, one of the most anticipated PC games of 2003 is proud to present the latest video installment of the game’s features for your viewing pleasure. The GRIN expedition is back from ECTS and boy, did we have a ball. The GRIN stand was constantly filled with curious gamers and journalists that wanted to try what obviously was a gorgeuos game - the twelve flatscreens shared by four test stations and a huge plasma screen made sure no one made any mistakes about the visual strenght in the game. The winners of the most prestigious awards in the European interactive entertainment industry were announced in London today at ECTS - Europe's premier trade show for interactive entertainment. The awards were presented in a ceremony hosted by Whizzbang TV's Gareth Jones and attended by over 1000 leading industry figures in the trade hall of ECTS itself.

One of the big "missing" companies at the ECTS 2002 is German CDV. For some odd reason, they are NOT there ... that of course did not stop them from sending out some screens to show off their upcoming titles, such as :
