Premier videogame publisher and developer Sammy Studios unveiled today at the European Computer Trade Show (ECTS) in London the expansion of its development operation to two California locations, Carlsbad and Los Angeles (formerly Sammy Entertainment). This action reinforces Sammy Studios’ strategy of creating new partnerships that foster the development of entertaining products for its worldwide distribution network, including Sammy Europe Limited, headquartered in the U.K.

NVIDIA Corporation the worldwide leader in visual processing solutions, announced today that its Graphics Processing Units (GPUs) are powering the hottest games of the year at the Electronic and Computer Trade Show (ECTS), being held at Earls Court in London from August 29-31. Ubi Soft Entertainment, one of the world’s largest video game publishers, today revealed its plans for the ECTS, one of the industry’s major European event of the year. At booth # 1640, Ubi Soft will be featuring triple A games for the leading platforms of the market. Within the trade area of the ECTS, Ubi Soft will be presenting four of its major key brands right out from its Canadian and French studios:

GRIN and PAN Vision will be holding an exclusive BANDITS event at ECTS 2002. Stand 1520 is hosting a BANDITS outpost where the developers GRIN will present the game throughout the three full days. This is the first time ever the game is shown and it will be shown all the way. The full version of BANDITS - Phoenix Rising will be on the stand with both single player and multiplayer sessions in play - hand on for everyone!

Broken Sword: The Sleeping Dragon will be unveiled during an exclusive press conference at this year’s ECTS. Revolution’s managing director Charles Cecil will demonstrate the game to the world’s media during an invite-only presentation to be held at 2:00pm on Thursday, 29th August, the first day of the show. A spokesperson from Criterion Software will also be speaking, explaining in detail how the use of RenderWare has enabled Revolution’s development team to push the boundaries of creative excellence and deliver a game which truly stands out from the crowd.

Rage, one of the UK's leading publishers and developers of entertainment software, is pleased to announce its line up of titles to be shown on stand 1546 at ECTS 2002, Europe's premier interactive entertainment expo, taking place at London’s Earl’s Court from 29-31 August. Creature Labs, the Cambridge-based game developer, has continued their efforts to breathe new life into classic video game favourites with the North American release of Warlords on PC CD-ROM. Developed exclusively for Infogrames and originally released as an Atari arcade game in 1980, this pioneering game epitomised castles, fireballs and dragons. Twenty-two years on, Creature Labs has totally revamped this classic game and re-introduced it to the modern gaming world.

Europe’s leading interactive entertainment expo, ECTS, is set to return to central London in September, taking up residency at Earls Court between Thursday 29th and Saturday 31st August. Havok previewed the Havok 1.5 SDK at ECTS, it will be on full release in early October. Added features to the top selling physics SDK include fast character cloth, enhanced deformable object physics and a groundbreaking car dynamics tool for real time changes. The Havok Car Tuning Tool is the first application that facilitates real-time tuning of vehicle SDK parameters via a graphical user interface.
