When Midway revealed
last week that it was dropping various licenses it did not want to specify any particular titles or franchises, but promised to give more details in its upcoming quarterly financial statement. While it did say it only concerned non-core licenses, Epic's VP Mark Rein
stated today that UT 3 was not part of the axed licenses, but instead that Epic is actively working with Midway to expand UT 3 with new content, although no further details were given.

A narrative-driven action experience BioShock allows players to do the impossible as they journey through an amazing, immersive and terrifying world. The PS3 version is getting new features and content, such as trophies, but also an exclusive Survivor mode, which is a new difficulty mode. 2K confirmed that the PS3 exclusive Challenge Rooms DLC is scheduled for Nov. 20, 2008.

With the PS3 port of BioShock scheduled for next week, it seems early copies are already floating around. When you finish the PS3 game, you unlock
a teaser trailer for BioShock 2, and while it merely shows a Little Sister holding a Big Daddy doll, it does not only show the full title, but also indicates that the sequel might be multiplatform from the get go, including a PS3 version.
