Set between the largely unexplored era between Ep III and Ep IV, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed casts players as Darth Vader's "Secret Apprentice" and promises to unveil new revelations about the Star Wars galaxy. LucasArts revealed that TFU will be getting a new campaign (Jedi Temple on Coruscant) and playable characters (Luke Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Ki-Adi-Mundi, and Kit Fisto) as part of two upcoming DLCs later this year.

Havok and Intel have launched a worldwide competition with a cash prize of $40,000 to find the “next big thing” in video game development. Entitled the Havok Physics Innovation Contest, amateur game developers are being asked to create an inventive, playable PC game demo using the Intel sponsored no-charge PC version of the Havok Physics software.

MotorStorm: Pacific Rift is moving from the rugged desert to a lush Pacific island with all of the vehicles familiar of the first game (ATVs, rally cars, buggies, motorbikes, race trucks, etc.), while adding a new monster truck class. Evolution studios revealed the game is nearing completion as they have just submitted the gold master candidate to testers, to give testers one last hammering.

A narrative-driven action experience BioShock allows players to do the impossible as they journey through an amazing, immersive and terrifying world. The PS3 version is getting new features and content, such as trophies, but also an exclusive Survivor mode, which is a new difficulty mode. A playable demo will be available on PSN Oct. 2, 2008.

PES 2009 has undergone a graphical update to ensure its players look and move even more like their real-life counterparts. Similarly, all-new options allow users to tailor the game to their own tastes, while new moves, innovative new control elements and key online elements will further the realism of the new game. A 5 minute play time single/multiplayer demo (playable as Man.U, Liverpool, Real Madrid, Barcelona or the Italian and French national team) will be release on Oct. 2, 2008 for X360, PS3 and PC.
