This patch turns the censored graphics of the US version of Neocron into the uncensored European version of the game. This basically means that after installing the patch, you will be confronted with tons of explicit nudity (e.g. no more bikinis or neglegees on strip dancers that were originally meant to be nude) in the red-light district of Neocron (Pepper Park).. The 3DO Company announced today the completion of an agreement with founder and chief executive officer Trip Hawkins that will provide $10 million in financial support to the company. A clip from announcement:

"3DO is poised to release hit games in 2003, beginning with our top-ranked High Heat Major League Baseball 2004 in February," said Hawkins. "This agreement is a big step forward on our goals of revenue growth and a return to profitability. Our confidence is growing from good previews from the gaming press for our 2003 product slate, and promising purchase order demand for our initial 2003 releases."

The CPL Pentium 4 Processor Winter 2002 Event, opening tomorrow, December 18th and boasting an attendance of 1,500 gamers representing 25 different countries, will center on the $140,000 official tournaments for Counter-Strike, Unreal Tournament 2003 and Team Fortress Classic. THQ has informed us know that they have launched the official web site for their upcoming Gamecube role-playing game, "Summoner The Prophecy". TVG let us know that after heated rumours the publisher officially cancels the GameCube version of Rally Fusion: Race of Champions. "Rally Fusion: Race of Champions will not be appearing on the Nintendo GameCube platform as originally planned," said an Activision spokesperson. "Due to unforeseen problems in development, the release date has slipped beyond the Christmas period and we are no longer able to schedule its expected completion date. As a result, the decision has been taken not to precede any further with the project."
