The official site for Morrowind now offers
two new plugins for Morrowind. The first one is called Area Effect Arrows, and features Aradraen the fletcher and her specialty arrows. The second plugin, Bitter Coast Sounds, adds sound effects and dragonfly creatures to the game.

Codemasters' let us know that the “demo” that is being circulated online for Codemasters’ TOCA Race Driver should be taken as unofficial. Very early demo code produced several months ago for US long lead-time magazine usage, the code was not intended for distribution online. The code is not representative of the current status of the game, nor should be taken as an example of the finished title, which will be released in September. It has only experimental car physics, basic AI, the car damage is an early test model and it will not run on a wide range of machines, as it is not optimised code.

The June issue of PC Gamer has a lot of information on the upcoming EverQuest 2 project being developed from Sony Online. From the reading of the article the designers have learnt a lot about the world of Norrath and how they can build upon it. This knowledge has been garnered not only from EverQuest but from many of the other MMOG's which have been released over the last three years. It's system requirements when released (currently slated for October 2003) will be a P3-733 (or Athlon XP), 512MB of Ram and GeForce 3 or higher. It's graphics engine was developed along with that used in the upcoming Star Wars Galaxies title.
