Our friends over at Gamestar got word that TDK is planning on releasing a playable demo for their upcoming racing game 'Mercedes Benz World Racing'. The demo will feature 4 cars (G500, SLK 230 Compressor, 300 SL and A 190 Twin) and the Alpine scenario. It will also feature 2 tracks and 2 missions, weighing in at a mere 62mb. EA Games will release a stand-alone demo for 'Medal of Honor Allied Assault Spearhead', the new expansion pack for the highly acclaimed WWII action PC game, Medal of Honor Allied Assault. Crave Entertainment has pushed back the release of 'Ultimate Fighting Championship: Tapout 2', 'H2O Overdrive' and 'The Lost'. The games are now slated for a Q1 2003 release. Crave stated that the delay is simply to give the developers of these games more time to add additional features and refine gameplay. Infogrames & Lost Toys sent out word today that 'Battle Engine Aquila', its sci-fi shooter for Xbox and PS2, has been slightly pushed back. Originally set for release during the holiday season, Battle Engine Aquila is now scheduled for January 2003.

The official Battlefield: 1942 web site has started a clock counting down the days, hours, minutes and seconds to the release of the multiplayer demo for the upcoming WWII multiplayer game. According to the clock the demo for Digital Illusions and Electronic Arts' game will be released at 12 noon PST (3 p.m. EST) on Friday and will contain the Wake Island map, five player classes and eight kinds of vehicles, including planes and ships.
