GEON: emotions is a psychedelic, pick-up-and-play game of rapidly changing tactics. Playing as one of eight emotions – Rage, Passion, Fear, Envy, Rapture, Courage, Bliss or Melancholy – players must race to collect pellets and score goals, using power-ups and their ‘emotional’ strengths and weaknesses. Geon emotions comes to Xbox LIVE Arcade this Wednesday, Sept. 19th, 2007 at 9:00 a.m. GMT (2:00 a.m. PDT).

Avalanche Studios, known for Eidos' Just Cause, announced the completion of their Avalanche engine v2.0 architected for the next generation of consoles which simulates advanced scalable landscapes and high end characterization, which set to make its first appearance at this years' Tokyo Game Show.

Mercury Games has secured the European publishing rights from Ertain BV for its fantasy action RPG Warriors of the Lost Empire, known in Japan as Lost Regnum, on the PSP.

Auran Games announced that the prize pool for “Fury Challenge” has now officially topped $2 million dollars. The Open Beta event for its Player versus Player MMO has been extended to Oct. 7.

Lost Planet is a sci-fi action shooter set within the merciless frozen tundra of a hostile planet, humans struggle for survival as conflicts arise between man, the surrounding indigenous creatures and the monstrous beings that have invaded. Capcom has released 2 patches for the previously released demos, fixing various issues and bringing it up to date with the late code.

Koei's Dynasty Warriors 6 (Shin Sangoku Musou 5) is in development for the PS3 and x360. Apart from the improved graphics and animations, not much more is known at this point. Scheduled for a fall release in Japan, DW 6 will be playable at the Tokyo Game Show this September.

Korean developer Reloaded Studios announce that it has entered into a licensing agreement with Crytek for use of the CryENGINE 2 middleware to develop their new Action Strategy MMORPG.

The battle may not begin until Sept. 25, but Halo fans can prepare for the epic fight with the release the Xbox 360 Halo 3 Special Edition Console (comes with matching Wireless Controller, headset, and exclusive Halo 3 Gamer Pics and Theme) on Sept. 16 for an estimated retail price of $399.99.
