Lost Planet is a sci-fi action shooter set within the merciless frozen tundra of a hostile planet, humans struggle for survival as conflicts arise between man, the surrounding indigenous creatures and the monstrous beings that have invaded. The PC version will feature optimized gfx, DirectX9/10 support, better multiplayer lobby, etc.

Renowned for its gothic atmosphere, non-stop action and thrilling combat, Devil May Cry 3 Special Edition adds a new character a new boss and many new levels. This new v1.3.0 patch fixes various gfx/texture issues, and adding Vista compatibility.

Local TV channel 3000 reported that a historic railroad roundhouse in Madison, Wisconsin, caught fire last week in the middle of the night. The building housed various companies, including Prey developer, Human Head Studios. According to reports, the back of the building went up in flames; the cause is still under investigation, but the servers were apparently saved. Ignition Entertainment announced the March 12th, 2007 completion of its 70% controlling share acquisition by Indian entertainment giant, UTV Software Communication. Ignition is currently in negotiations with a number of leading development teams across all formats with an objective to bolster its release schedule for 2007/08.

CDV USA announced the upcoming release of a new, value-priced compilation of Codename: Panzers titles to retail in May 2007. Codename: Panzers Commander's Edition will contain the critically-acclaimed WWII RTS titles - Codename: Panzers, Phase One and Codename: Panzers, Phase Two.

Bethesda has released The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Construction Set, allowing you to create your own content for its imminent RPG. This application is not included in the retail game, requires the original, and only works with the PC edition. This v1.2.404 fixes error with preview window not displaying art properly.

CDV USA is pleased to announce the upcoming release of Cossacks: Emperor's Edition, a combination of three great real-time strategy titles taking place over several hundred years of European history.

Combat Mission: Shock Force is a tactical military simulation depicting a hypothetical near future conflict between NATO and Syrian forces in Syria. A highly story driven semi-dynamic Campaign, from the US perspective, offers a completely new experience for "Combat Mission" fans.

Possession will give players the chance to do what they’ve always wanted to do in a survival horror game – control the zombies and wreak havoc instead of just cowering in the corner. There’ll be no more creeping about in the shadows, no more conserving ammo. Blitz Games confirmed that "we cannot give out any further information on Possession at the moment other than production has been halted for the time being."

Codemasters announced that Operation Flashpoint 2 has been in development for over two years by an internal studio and will be coming to PC and major consoles (wild guess this means PS3 and X360). While details are still limited, OpFlash 2 uses the same Neon Engine as its Colin McRae DIRT racing game and will also feature extensive online capabilities for epic multiplayer battlefield action.

Earlier today Civ fansite Apolyton revealed that Civilization III and Civ IV designer Soren Johnson had left Firaxis, and teamed up with EA, which he left in 2000 to join up with aforementioned Sid Meiers studio. EA confirmed the rumor and let us know that Soren has indeed joined the Maxis team, currently developing Will Wright's (r)evolutionary title Spore.

Ubisoft announced the release of Player's Pack Red Edition, an all-new downloadable content package (800 Microsoft points/$10) coming up for the X360 edition of Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas, adding five more playable multiplayer maps and two new game modes.
