Real Fighting Championship is an 3D online fighting game for the PC, in development at Cykan Entertainment. RFC promises realistic graphics, championships with multiple modes, and give you an experience that rivals any console fighting game. As you progress you will be able to strenghten your character to become winner of the RFC.

Codemasters released the 2nd free content expansion for its sci-fi/fantasy MMORPG RF Online, the epic sci-fi and fantasy MMORPG, giving players access to the new and previously uncharted player area, the Elan Plateau, as well as the Circle Zone Scramble, RF Online’s very own unique Guild versus Guild combat system.

New reports from DFC Intelligence predict that the worldwide video game and interactive entertainment industry (hardware, software, PC, consoles and handhelds) is expected to grow from about $29 billion in 2005 to as much as $44 billion in 2011.

Last year Sony announced that they were working on an emulator for the PSP, allowing owners of its handheld to play all PSOne titles without a problem. Scheduled for November, Sony has now released a beta version of its PSX-P emulator, which works for firmware v1.0 through 2.71, although from v2.5 up, you will need to use eLoader. The developers are not quite satisfied with the framerate, but future updates should remedy that. Once the official/final PSX-P is released you will need a PC with wifi or a PS3 in order to use it.

While details are very limited, Square Enix is working on a remake of the first Front Mission game in the franchise, which originally came out on SNES. Front Mission the First will use the main touch screen for tactical movement of troops, like we have seen in Advance Wars: Dual Strike. While other recent ports, FF III for instance, seem to have gotten a graphical upgrade, this does not seem to be the case with FM The First.

The Rebel Planet is a fantasy based action RPG game set in a time before the Great Flood of Noah. The biblical story will broken up over several chapters, and offered as episodic content,Orion being the first.

The World Series of Video Games presented by Intel announces today that the upcoming Major event on the World Series of Video Games circuit will be entitled the "UK Gaming Championship". The event will be held at the London Trocadero in Piccadilly Circus, October 6-8, 2006. Hours of operation are 10-10 Friday and Saturday, and 12-5 on Sunday.
