The ESRB has changed The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion's rating from Teen to Mature due to more detailed depictions of blood and gore than were considered in the original rating, and due to a 3rd party mod file unlocking topless versions of female characters.

MGM Interactive and EON Productions Ltd. have awarded Activision the rights to develop and publish interactive entertainment games based on the James Bond license through 2014. Electronic Arts recently dropped the license due to disappointing results from a streak of mediocre titles.

Dynasty Warriors BroadBand (working title) is KOEI's second online multiplayer title (Unchartered Waters being the other), based on its popular hack'n slash series, currently available only in Japan. Oblivion is a single-player game that takes place in Tamriel's capital province, Cyrodiil. Last month Bethesda's PR guru
Pete Hines revealed that a patch for the X360/PC editions of TES4: Oblivion was in the works, fixing a number of issues that they found or were reported by the community. Since then it has been quiet on the progress but Pete finally confirmed that a beta patch will be released this week, and if all goes well (meaning no major bugs pop up), the final patch should be released in a few weeks.

Microsoft has released an updated demo for Big Huge Games' 3D RTS allowing you to try out the previous content (part of the Alin campaign, 2 skirmish maps ), but now with optimized gfx, AI and a 3rd map Battle for the Core.
UPDATE: Microsoft distributed a corrupt install, which has now been replaced with the working copy. We also have a demo fix in case you do not want to download the big whopper all over again.

2K Games announced a Limited Collector's Edition for both the X360 and PC editions of Prey which will include a metal packaging upgrade, Tommy and the alien Hunter die-cast figurines, a free Prey soundtrack, and "The Art of Prey" book featuring collected conceptual and development images.
