Vivendi Acquires 'DarkWatch' (PS2/Xbox) Developer High Moon Studios

VU Games today announced that it has completed the purchase of independent developer, High Moon Studios. VU Games will retain High Moon's team of more than 100 development professionals, as well as rights to the studio's intellectual properties. Child Molestation Case Involving Xbox Live

The Mercury Post is reporting that a 26-year-old man was arrested on charges he molested a 14-year-old boy he met through Xbox Live. After meeting online their conversations progressed to sending e-mails, and web cam videos, including obscene clips. The teenager then still passed on his telephone # and address and they met in a Santa Rosa park in November where the alleged physical abuse occurred.

'Unreal Tournament 2007' Not a PlayStation 3 Launch Title

A few weeks ago a rumor started floating around that the January 2006 issue of PSM would reveal that UT 2007 was to be a PS3 launch title, but this community post by an Epic producer on the Atari forums tells a different story, "PC first. We're not scheduled to be a ps3 launch title, not certain where those news sites are getting that from. There will be a pre-release demo (on the PC at least)."
